welcome to my Xx_yaoitron9000xX shrine!!!ehe.. i am pretty aware its kind of unconventional to make a shrine of your own oc, but i love him so much, so why shouldnt i? for context on this specimen, this is a character i made specifically for my very first game, job hunting 9000, as part of a gamejam! as the game jam in question was the, err...'yaoi game jam', i made him and the game ironically as one-off jokes. but i should mention that my love for dating sims is no joke! im not really not any kind of pervert and i hope that assumption isnt made when i express my interest in such a thing, rather i have a strange fascination towards them in more of an 'put that shit under a magnifying glass' way.
this sparked in me around 2017 with the craze of Doki Doki Literature Club, and ever since then i knew i HAD to make a dating sim or visual novel if it killed me. why not do both? now, a fascination in dating sims of all things may strike any well adjusted person as very perculiar indeed, but trust me when i say i have my reasons! its so interesting to consider the most vulnerable of human emotions applied to a virtual space in a number of contexts, the existance and contrast of relationships approached virtually, and story branching and other statistics common in dating sims really strike a chord in my brain. theyre often a little simpler than regular game mechanics, so theyre quite easy to grasp and sort of have your imagination run wild with. of course, job hunting 9000 hardly scratches the surface of these kinds of mechanics which is exactly why i think id like to not stop making games like this and really get to explore every mechanic that i have interest in. truly, my love for dating sims is less on a loser level and more on a technical level...i think...

...ehe...well, i suppose itd also be worth talking at least a little more about him, considering this is his shrine. im not exactly sure how to introduce xx_yaoitron9000xx to someone. primordial beast? mary sue incarnate? i cant say these are particularly flattering descriptions, but maybe thats for the best. he kind of sucks, actually. hes really mean, and would probably ransom you given the chance, or like, hang you from the legs up. hes quite a character! you might also notice that i drew special artworks just for this shrine, with an artstyle differing to the game. i really like using as many styles as possible whenever the chance is available! you should give it a try, if youd like. if you wouldnt like to, you could also write a review for your very real and not fake experience with xX_yaoitron9000Xxs simiarly very real dating service program, in the chat box above! im sure he'll appreciate it.
